Chronology of cameras Certo

The Dolly is either a klapp (X-shaped struts) or a folding camera. Both types use 127 film, but the first produces negatives of 3 x 4 cm and inherits the name Dolly 3 x 4, while the second produces larger negatives (4 x 6.5 cm).
Both models coexisted in the 1930s.

Each of the two types is subdivided into two models, each with numerous variants depending on the shutter and lens model:

1 The B model of the klapp has focus adjustment through a radial lever.
2 The B model of the folding camera is hybrid: film and plate.

__________

The uniqueness of this model lies in its method of adjusting the shooting distance. A rod with a hole drilled through it is attached to the focus ring. The hole aligns with the numbers engraved on a curved index on an ivory-colored plate. This system ensures excellent readability of distances and ease of adjustment, but only when viewing the camera from the front.
